Visiting UNTITLED Art Fair: 6 Top Picks
The new beach front fair Untitled, under the artistic direction of New York based curator, Omar Lopez-Chahoud. Representing 50 international galleries showing refreshing contemporary works, UNTITLED made a clean and bright freshness to the traditional Miami Beach art fair.
We felt that this fair, among others (beyond the first-class waterfront location) stood out as not just a ‘new’ alternative, but an overall positive step up from previous years.

Tal R: The Shlomo at Cheim & Reid, New York
Tal R’s most recent exhibition of new paintings at Cheim & Reid does not disappoint. The exhibition was post-poned due to complications from Sandy and opened this past Thursday. The works, painted with raw pigment mixed directly into rabbit skin glue on heavy linen. The Danish-Israeli artist portrays a muted almost somber look, with the images seeming to be more visibly narrative.
Don’t miss the exhibition which will be on view through January 5.
