Lovely Woodworking from Round Studio
Canberra–based property developers Molonglo Group approached Studio Round to create a retail tenancy information package for their latest mixed use tenancy – Nishi. Located in the heart of the NewActon precinct, Nishi will include two cafes, an informal restaurant, a bookshop and another retail space.
This piece really stands out wen we kinda wish we had one….
From the Studio”
“We focussed on what potential retailers would be most concerned with, the financial benefits. Thus our response gave prominence to those supporting statistics and facts. We brought this somewhat dry data to life by commissioning hand-fabricated wooden charts and graphs crafted out of recycled timbers. This echoed the
fact that Nishi is the most radically sustainable building complex in Australia and much of it’s character is created through the use of recycled timber and reconstituted materials.
