Tongues and Clams by E.V. Day
E.V. Day is a New York based installation artist and sculptor whose work explores themes of feminism and sexuality while employing gravity-defying suspension techniques. She has described her work as “futurist abstract paintings in three dimensions.” Day received her MFA in Sculpture from Yale in 1995.
What you are seeing are real raccoon tongues in clam shells; an ongoing project of Day’s.
